If there is a common trait that every ActionCOACH Business Coach shares it is a desire to help their particular community grow. For Andy O’Brien, his allegiance to his community along with his desire to live a better life with his family facilitated his move into the ActionCOACH system.

Andy grew up in Mason City as part of a family moving business. He learned early on that dedication and work ethic are the key elements of business, “the truck never unloads itself.” These and many other traits from the family business continue to influence Andy as a husband, father, trainer and Business Coach.  

Andy has 2 children, a son at Luther and a daughter who is a senior at MCHS. Both children are very involved in swimming and if you listen at the meets you will hear Andy cheering the kids on louder than the crowd. Andy is married to Jodee, his best friend of 20 yrs. You will find them walking their two Labrador Retrievers any chance they get. She is his biggest fan and supporter. Andy loves to run, cycle, ski, hunt or anything involving his family. 

Andy is highly motivated professionally and personally. His need to help people blossomed into a career in sales and management. Andy has been a small business owner of a Manufacturing Representative Firm; Corporate work as National Sales Manager, Vice President, Business Development Specialist; and sales experience in: Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, Media Advertising, Building Products, Office Supplies & Equipment.

Andy owns this Business coaching firm located in Mason City.
