I am excited about closing out 2010 and moving into 2011. I've had a successful year, business and personal. My clients have seen such success over the year and I thought I'd recap my, and my clients, major achievements. - Roofing Company experienced a 25% increase in revenue for 2010 over 2009 with a 10% increase in net profit while hiring a project manager and an administrative assistant. This was accomplished by focusing his marketing, the beginnings of system improvements and efficiencies, and using the 4 Hour Hiring Format to hire the right people the first time. - Distribution Company had an 18.3% increase in sales, 8.8% increase in Gross Profit with a 93.3% increase in Net Income. This primarily accomplished by reevaluating customers and eliminating low margin customers, successfully marketing to new key customers, improving GM by 2% and implementing testing and measuring to maintain fixed costs. - Commercial Subcontractor maintained sales 2010 comparative to 2009, made it through some cashflow issues and through some diversification issues. Accomplished through team adjustment, systems efficiencies, and improved marketing strategies which have already yielded approximately 36% of the 2011 revenue goal booked and in backlog. - Local Electrical Contracting Company had a .4% increase in revenue 2010 over 2009 with a 60% increase in net income. Results obtained by implementing strategies to control variable costs and fixed costs, improved field efficiencies, reviewing pricing, and maintaining a gross margin goal. All this with buying a new building and moving the business. - On a personal level my biggest success was the addition of my first grandchild, a son to my son and daughter in law; William Joseph. Although being 8 weeks early and having to spend 6 weeks in the hospital he is a healthy baby and is the apple of Grandpa’s eye. From a business perspective I am proud to say that all of my clients improved this year over last year which is why I do what I do; to help businesses get the results they want.
