About Jim Barger, Host of Success In Action

In his Business Career, Jim has been involved in Restaurants, Software Marketing, Manufacturing, Recruitment, Training, Warehousing, Retailing, and Furniture! He has worked as both Consultant and Coach, as Trouble-Shooter and CEO. Now Jim adds radio host to his list of roles. "As a business coach and radio host, I have the privilege of meeting and learning from successful business owners in this vibrant area."

Jim was born in Nebraska and grew up in Omaha, graduated from Westside and UNO and has been married to his wife Janet since 1982. They have two daughters, Krista and Bethany and returned to Omaha from New Zealand in 2007.

After earning his MBA from UNO, Jim had the privilege of working with business owners in Southeast Asia, and enjoyed owning two businesses in New Zealand. He has had the rare privilege to work with, and own, a diverse range of businesses around the world – and with an equally diverse range of business owners, partners and associates!

Before becoming owner of Success Omaha, LLC, an ActionCOACH franchise, Jim was the owner / manager of four companies, and understands the pressures, challenges and pleasures associated with being your own boss.
