Raving fans are customers who recommend you to anyone and everyone they know.  They basically do your marketing for you!  They provide referrals, promote your business, and continue to be regular, high valued customers.  Try the following tips to turn your regular customers into raving fans:

  1. Provide excellent customer service.  Provide a guarantee or follow-up with them on the phone.
  2. Take note of what your customers like. Take the time to notice the little things that make your customers feel special.
  3. Invite your regular customers to an exclusive special event. Or send exclusive discounts just to them.
  4. Send your regular customers a sample product or send them a special note with a complimentary sample inside.
  5. Say “thank you” to all your customers. Let them know you’re grateful for them and that you appreciate them.  Make them feel valued.
  6. Call your customers by their name.  It can be a very powerful marketing tool.  Make it personal by making them feel important.

If you’re doing all of these things, great!  If you’re doing some of them, try a few more! If you’re doing none of them, start with a couple!  These small tips can make a huge different in your marketing strategies, your marketing budget, and your overall business.  Relationships are important, so make sure all your customers know this!
