My First Business
My first business started when I was in college - a painting business in my small town where we spent summers painting hundreds of houses, barns, buildings and a few other interesting projects. That experience taught me the value of owning a business and today as a coach, my goal is to help small business owners, such as yourself, spend less time working in your business and more time working ON your business. The goal, in the end, is to help you be more profitable and to learn how to have FUN again in your business and your life.
As your coach, I will be working with you in five key areas. The emphasis on each area depends on your needs, the type of business you have, and your goals. The key areas are: Sales; Marketing and Advertising; Team Building and Recruitment; Systems and Business Development; and, Customer Service.
My Franchise Recruiting Business
As a small business owner myself in Iowa, I know what it is like to worry about the day-to-day survival of the business and making the amount of money needed to run my business and personal life. I understand what it’s like to put in long hours and wonder what happened to the dreams and vision I had for my life and future.
As the Head Coach for the Heartland Region, my Cedar Rapids based firm covers the states of Iowa and Nebraska. We have eight coaches currently located in six offices. My primary role is as a franchise recruiter and developer in helping people become business coach franchisees within our system, plus my office provides start-up and on-going training and support for our franchisees.

I also coach local clients as well. If you decide you want me to work with your business in a coaching program, we will work together with you to redefine your dreams and vision, and then we will put into place the necessary systems, strategies, and tactics that will allow you to turn your business venture into a thriving profitable business!
