Career History
I began my career as an electronics and computer engineer. I soon moved into face-to-face technical support and then naturally became part of the Sales and Marketing Team. My next move was to a role as Account Manager for Kingston Telecommunications, a £500M turnover company. In my final year there I achieved 186% of my sales target and was the number 1 sales person across my division of 31 other sales people. I was one of a small team that helped build our Milton Keynes operation from zero to £11M turnover in 4 years.
It was at this time I was headhunted by ActionCOACH to be "Coaches’ Coach" and train their coaches in Sales and Marketing techniques. I set up my ActionCOACH office in Milton Keynes and have been coaching clients ever since, helping them turn their businesses around, giving them a clear direction and new hope for the future. Most importantly, I have helped to make them more profitable.
Personal Profile
I am a multi-award-winning coach with over 20 years of commercial experience in business. I have been a qualified business coach since 2005 and I specialise in Sales and Marketing strategies for business growth.
I achieved Gold Coach status after just eight months, and have since won the following awards for my achievements at ActionCOACH:
In addition, one of my clients has also won ActionCOACH Business of the Year 2011, beating off stiff competition from 75 other businesses.
Another Client won “The best results in the first 3 months of Coaching”. Two other clients were finalists in the Marketing and Financial Results categories respectively.
I am married and have two young sons that keep me busy. We are living in and renovating a 400 year old cottage near Olney, Buckingham. I enjoy martial arts, cycling, running, snowboarding and personal development.
In my time as a business coach I have spoken on both the European, and Global stage, on behalf of ActionCOACH, educating my fellow coaches and colleagues. I am a regular public speaker at local networking groups across Beds, Bucks, and Northants and have volunteered my expertise on the government’s new Young Enterprise scheme for higher education within my region.
I am an Executive Coach too and a qualified EQ Emotional Intelligence expert. I am also proficient in SDI and DISC psychometric evaluation systems that are widely employed many by larger corporations and government bodies.
