1 on 1 Coaching
This is where I meet my clients at a pre-set time on a regular basis. Normally I meet them once per week, but once well established it is possible to reduce the frequency of business coaching sessions to once every two weeks. We start with an Alignment session in which the coach and the client get clear on why the client is in business in the first place, what personal goals they need their business to support and in what time frame. We establish 3 to 5 year goals and the 1 year goals. Then we put an action plan in place for the initial 13 weeks that, once followed will move the client significantly along the path towards their goals for the first year. You might think, why not leave it at that and meet in a few months to check on progress. And for a small minority of people this would work. But most of us need someone to hold us accountable to complete what we said we would complete. The kind of people who would do their school homework even if the teacher never asked to look at it, or who would study course material even if there was not an exam to pass at the end, arguably would not need a business coach. But now many of that kink of person are out there. Those in employment have a boss to answer to. But who does the boss of a SME business answer to? And that is one of the roles I perform as a Business Coach. I hold them accountable to get on with the actions they agreed they must take in order to drive the business forward. There are different coaching programs designed to suit different circumstances. Much depends on the current situation and how much change the client wants or needs to achieve. And how quickly. If you give me a call or email we can discuss which program might best suit you. |
