Jane Hogan’s coaching career began in 2002 when she completed a diploma in Life & Business Coaching. Prior to that she completed a degree in Chemistry in Trinity, followed by 10 years at British Airways in London where she worked in IT, Sales & Marketing functions. Jane and her husband, Tim, then decided to return to Ireland to start their family. In Dublin, Jane worked as a Management Consultant with Fujitsu for 5 years. The births of her two sons, Ben and Leo, led Jane to look for an alternative career which would enable her to continue helping business owners to achieve their personal and business goals, whilst also providing her with the flexibility required to be a successful working mother. Leaving a lucrative career in the corporate consulting world, Jane started on her entrepreneurial journey by joining ActionCOACH as a business coach. She is a member of the Life and Business Coaching Association of Ireland.
Jane has extensive experience managing projects for a number of British Airways’ subsidiary businesses including Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Retail, Warehousing & Logistics and Loyalty & Marketing. She is also an experienced consultant specialising in Organisational Change and Investment Value Management. Jane’s success in the corporate world stemmed from her ability to focus on a project goal and to enrol and inspire other people to work towards and achieve that common goal.
As a business coach, Jane uses these skills to help business owners gain clarity on their own personal and business goals and to come up with an action plan to achieve these. This includes increasing profitability in the business and managing their time better so that business owners can invest in team and systems, leaving them time, energy and money to focus on doing the things they really love in their business and personal lives.
Jane loves to travel. She has worked in Ireland, the UK, the USA and Australia and has toured in Europe, Africa, Australia, North and South America, the Far East and the Middle East. She is also a keen mountain walker completing such challenges as Mount Kilimanjaro and the Three Peaks. When she is at home, Jane loves cooking and entertaining.
Jane’s passion for coaching is based on the belief that with clarity and focus, any one of us can live a life filled with energy, passion and success, achieving our goals and dreams, doing what we love and loving what we do.
Jane is participating in Coaching for a Cause - Action's initiative to help non-profit organisations provide world-class business coaching services to non-profits all over the world so they can optimize on donations, boost fundraising and improve their overall efficiency. Her chosen charity is Focus Ireland - a charity working to advance the rights of homeless people and which believes every person has the right to a place they call home.
