I realized that even though I have been in business a long time, there are still a lot of things I could do better. There are more new ideas out there and better ways of improving my business. I am using Action International to help us grow our business. Action is helping us to work more on our systems, our key performance indicators, being more conscious of working ON our business as opposed to IN our business. I think a lot of business people get a little lazy and into bad habits of not doing some of the things they used to do and now don’t do. Action International has really helped us refocus on some of those key indicators that will continue to make our business grow. Most people go into business really having no idea what it takes to succeed. They may be great entrepreneurs but they may be horrible managers. Action International will help a small business get off the ground. So many businesses fail in the early stages, so Action International can help them avoid those landmines. For a mature business like us, there are new and different ways of doing things. We need to be re-energized. We need new ideas. We need to be reinforced with what really should work for us. I think Action International is very good for the small business, the mature business, the new business, the large business… they really have something for everybody!

The biggest issue I had was working IN my business too much instead of actually working on my business.
