Martin is an Executive Coach Accredited by ActionCOACH and the International Business Coach Institute(IBCI). He is also a medical doctor and consultant psychiatrist who joined ActionCOACH after 10 years experience coaching medical students, doctors and trainee psychiatrists.

While running the Royal London Hospital Mental Health Clinic (2003-2004) in Canary Wharf's Business & Banking District, Dr Preston coached a number of stressed FTSE 100 Executives by helping them focus on methods to leverage their teams. 

Martin's extensive training and experience resulted in his selection as one of five coaches from our 1200 business coaches around the world, to create and drive the Australian division of the global Executive Coaching Group at ActionCOACH. With the largest group of Executive Coaches around the world, ActionCOACH has the advantage of consistent coordination of coaching engagements at various national offices for our multinational clients.

Since returning to Melbourne at the end of 2004, Martin has continued clinical practice at Southern Health, Victoria's largest healthcare network, where he combines the dual roles of Deputy Clinical Director of Acute Psychiatry, alongside teaching at Monash University (Australia's largest university), while coaching with ActionCOACH, the world's most successful business coaching corporation.

Martin loves succeeding with large institutions by leveraging his own leadership style, but his greatest passion comes from coaching individuals and teams to find their own effective styles for leveraged actions and greater results.

Dr Preston specialises in organisational psychology, stress management, peak performance and leadership coaching.
