We make it our Business to help other business owners ...

Read this staggering statistic from the SBA Office of Advocacy (Sept 2009 report):

“Seven out of ten new employer firms last at least two years, and about half survive five years. More specifically, according to new Census data, 69 percent of new employer establishments born to new firms in 2000 survived at least two years, and 51 percent survived five or more years. Firms born in 1990 had very similar survival rates. With most firms starting small, 99.8 percent of the new employer establishments were started by small firms. Survival rates were similar across states and major industries.¨

Source: U.S Dept. of Commerce, Bureau of the Census, Business Dynamics Statistics. Note that the figures could be skewed slightly by the rare occurrence of new firms opening multiple establishments in their first few years."

Did you know small businesses are important to the US economy?
Small businesses represent 99.7 percent of employer firms, pay 44% of the total U.S. payroll and has generated a net of 64% new jobs in the past 15 years.

About the Leadership Team...
As Master Licensee ActionCOACH in Georgia and South Carolina, Patrick Coan is an inspiring leader to his team.  He believes that successful coaches make a successful franchise.

Pat incorporated Global IG, Inc. in February 2002 and was awarded two restaurant franchises.  Then somewhere between looking at locations and deciding which would fit his goals and dreams, he was introduced to the ActionCOACH business opportunity.  He found the Passion and the Heart he was looking for in a business and he knew that the ActionCOACH business coaching is the right fit.  The rest, as they say, is history.

He invested and launched the business in August 2002, after being awarded the ActionCOACH Master Franchise for Georgia. Pat brings with him vast senior management experience in a Fortune 25 Company, Procter and Gamble (P&G),  and military service with the U.S. Air Force as Captain and Rescue Helicopter Commander.

He enjoys golf, reading historical fiction and collecting artifacts from around the world.  He is a proud family man - a wonderful father, grandfather and husband.

Patrick is privileged to have his wife, Jackie as a full partner in the business.  She brings a high level of experience to the team having been with ActionCOACH since 1998, helping to manage the Asian operations before joining Pat as a full partner in the Georgia business.

The highlight of their business this year is expanding their ActionCOACH territory to include South Carolina !
