Certified Business Coach with ActionCOACHof Colorado
Serving Boulder County, including:
Boulder, Louisville, Superior, Longmont and surrounding areas.
At ActionCOACH Colorado, we know that starting and running a small business is hard work. Entrepreneurs have to wear many hats, but would you trust your business accounting to someone that wasn't qualified? What about your marketing? If you wouldn't hire yourself to do it, then you should probably hire someone who can help you. Coaches help people in so many ways. Every elite athlete, business legend or performing superstar is surrounded by coaches and advisors.
Even the world's most successful men and women have admitted that they need an executive business coach, including Google's Eric Schmidt, interviewed in the video below:
So, the question is not whether you need a coach, but which coach, and why can they help you?
Phil Y. Barton of Boulder County Business Coaching has theEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and RESOURCES to help all ventures, ranging from small startups to large established businesses.
Coaching isn't just for sports. With only the most qualified, educated, and seasoned veterans of the business world, ActionCOACH has the best resources and business practices available to take your biggest investment - your business - to exactly where you want it.
Obviously, if you're going to hire a business coach, you want one who can deliver quality results. You want an executive coach. One who has the ability to actually recognize the areas that need change, improve all the priority areas within your overall business, and achieve optimal performance throughout every level. You don’t have the money to waste on someone who is ineffective, and lacks the experience of having accomplished this before.
Phil has honed his abilities throughout the corporate world, and achieved results not once but time and time again, for over 30 years. Now he wants to bring that experience to bear for you, by teaching you the secrets he has learned, while developing your business into the powerhouse you first dreamed of it becoming. Don’t waste your time on a standard consultant that comes in and tells you what they think is wrong, only to turn around and leave you to find your best guess on a fix.
Phil will mentor and instruct you in the art of being a true entrepreneur, which is a leader that can replicate success in any business they own. Learn to run your business, as a Successful Commercial Enterprise, working hard without YOU! In order to not work every day, you must understand a new dynamic way of hiring people, putting the right people in the right positions, and giving them the systems necessary to do the job right the first time. With the time management skills, Phil will instill in you, he will add balance back into your life, so you can enjoy your family, friends, and all of what life has to offer.
One of Phil’s best qualities is his gift of giving back. Currently Phil serves on several community boards, including the Louisville Chamber of Commerce (President), Louisville Library Foundation (President), Business Economics Education Foundation, Burlington Northern Foundation, Chestor House (past President) and several others that also benefit from his amazing gift for business. Currently, Phil is also providing pro bono business coaching to Blue Sky Bridge, a child advocacy agency helping sexually abused children and non-offender family members in the Boulder County area.
Phil’s History
Phil developed his drive to succeed early when he had to work three jobs, to put himself through the University Of Colorado. Phil graduated with two degrees, a BS in Marketing, and a BS in Accounting, the two cornerstones for business development. After graduation, Phil went into the transportation industry with Western Airlines, followed by American President Lines (a transpacific Inter-Modal company) gaining his international experience. He gained recognition at Burlington Northern Railroad as the chief labor relations officer with over 600 employees; he was able to navigate the troubled waters of management and union workers. He did this with undermining problem managers, and an angry, antagonistic clerical staff, by overcoming trust and adversary issues through negotiation.
Phil Moved on to becoming the CFO, and COO of the Harlem Globetrotters, while he still says that “he is the shortest guy they ever hired”, he was still able to bring his successful management style to improve and stabilize this historic organization. After much success, Phil traveled back to Louisville to start his own business and spend more time with his family.
