Bio

René was born in Middelburg, the Netherlands, and has been together with his wife Anja for over twenty years. They have four sons, Elrik, Alwin, Corneel and Marnix, and have been in the USA since the Summer of 2002

René got his Masters in Business Economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, provided Human Resource Management consulting services to the Ministry of Justice in The Hague until he got caught by a fascination for Business and IT

Thus started an international career in Business IT Consulting, Program and Product Management. While helping businesses all over the Globe, he managed cross-functional teams that included up to ten different nationalities, introduced process improvement programs that developed new business with an estimated net value of $32 million each year within the SSA Global Pre-Sales and Consulting organizations; and ultimately was responsible for a department that targeted a for that company entirely new market and had to develop and implement an of ‘out of the box’ integrated software that was capable of managing all manufacturing plants and supply chain operations of any company in the Forest Products Industry.

In early spring of 2009, René was approached by ActionCOACH to become a Business Coach for the Winchester Area at the Top of Virginia. He jumped on the chance to use his talents to improve the local businesses in the area where his kids go to school and he goes to Church!
