1. Scott brings over 25 years of successful entrepreneurial business leadership in sales, marketing, operations, and systems development in start-up, fast-growth,     and mature companies. He has built, bought, and sold several companies in the cellular and retail industry during that time.

3. Having also worked for over 9 years in public accounting and as a Chief Financial Officer in a small company, Scott understands the numbers and the “language of     business.”

4. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan and a Certificate in Public Accounting.

6. Scott has a strong desire to give back to his community: 
• Currently a Board Member of the Grandville Chamber of Commerce 
• Chairman of the Small Business Assistance Committee of the Wyoming-Kentwood Chamber 
• Served as a Board Member and President of the West Michigan Walleye Club 
• Served as a Board Member, Treasurer, and President of the Brookwood Elementary School PTC 
• Volunteered time for the Kentwood High School Band & Orchestra Boosters and Girls Swim Team 
• Charter member of Medical Mile Resource Group

7. Always a family man, Scott lives in Kentwood with his wife of 25 years, Jan, and their daughter, Erin. He enjoys walleye fishing, travel with the family, and reading.
