I would like to thank you for the training provided over the past 14 months.  As you know this has been of great benefit to myself personally and to the business as a whole.

Our initial assessment came at a time when the firm was lacking specific direction and was at something of a cross-roads, and in need of clear and identified goals for the future.  Put simply, where did I want the business to be in two years time?

Through applying your detailed analysis of the firm we were able to identify the key strengths (and weaknesses) of the business and formulate a strategy to grow the business with clear goals set within specific and achievable timescales.

The weekly business call focussed very much on these goals, the action required to achieve them and the accountability for them.  A close working relationship formed which was entirely necessary fo the coaching to flourish and achieve results.

We are now well on our path to the business success I have sought through recognising the potential, developing the strategies and applying the wide-ranging methods.

I wish to convey to you how very thankful I am for all the help and tuition you have given me, I am very glad to have met you when I did.  Haven taken over a reasonably successful yet rather archaic family business I was finding it difficult to enthuse my staff with the more modern changes and practices that I felt were needed for our future competitiveness.  I was at a stage of feeling helplessness and was over-consumed with the multitude of tasks that I felt only I was capable of carrying out.

You very much helped to overcome these problems and brought home to me that it wasn't the staff that had been the problem - it was mainly my communication with them.  Things have improved dramatically - business information is now shared between all of us and all opinions and thoughts are openly heard.  I now feel that we are fusing together the historic positives created by my father with a newer, conscientious and dynamic approach.  And I am now putting in to practice the incredibly important skills of empowering and delegating.

You have completely changed the way I look at the business and the importance of focusing on the crucial areas that matter, rather than being bogged down in the same old day to day tasks.  I have now developed a much more positive approach to the business (and life) and have gained a multitude of business skills and techniques (financial, marketing, sales techniques and systemisation) that I would never have thought of myself but which are now playing a crucial part in what I'm sure will be a successful future.

Graeme and I have attended the ActionCOACH group training programme delivered by Tony Hoskins and Enrico Massani.  Despite being a little sceptical at first, we soon realised that both these gentlemen had a great deal of experience and a wealth of ideas to share with us.

The programme was well structured and very thought provoking.  Both Tony and Enrico guided and encouraged us to dig deep into our thought processes and really work on our business. 

The programme has acted as a catalyst and both Graeme and myself are now actively working to implement the ideas and strategies that we have learnt.  We both have a long way to go to reach the ultimate goals, but we now feel we have the tools and the courage to get there, and get there we will!

Business Coaching Sept 2009 - March 2010

Following on from our excellent meeting this morning, I feel now is an opportune time to reflect on our business relationship over the above period.

It has been a pleasure working with you for the last seven months, and I have also found the action workshops and business forums most worthwhile.  They have genuinely rekindled the entrepreneur within and while the content and presentation have been of a consistent and high standard I have also enjoyed meeting other business owners and have benefited from the contacts made.

You and your team have brought a discipline to both me and my business and without doubt your approach has changed the way that I view and understand both our core business activity and the potential for growth.  It is fair to say that I started your coaching programme with mixed views, but it has been an extremely positive and beneficial experience.  As discussed today I feel that we are now in a position to take advantage of the undoubted growth that we are experiencing, and most importantly have the confidence to plan for the future and build our business to be a real force and market leader in the leisure industry.

Initially I felt that we would take each month one step at a time but I fully intend to retain your expertise and commitment for the foreseeable future.

Many thanks again for bringing an excellent skill set, discipline and above all clarity of purpose to Wigwam Holidays, both in the present and in the future.
