1 Year after moving to Perth I am delighted to say that the business community here is amazing. What’s a business coach and why on earth would you need one?
It’s a good question!!! Essentially, a business coach does for business people exactly the same thing as a sports coach does for sports people – help them and their businesses, reach maximum potential. There is no denying that Ian Thorpe was an immensely talented swimmer. Would his raw talent alone have made him successful? Almost certainly: yet he changed his coach to take him to the next level in his swimming career. He chose Tracey Menzies because he recognised Tracey’s “attention to detail and her process-oriented approach” which were the skills needed to enable Ian to realise his full potential.
It’s exactly the same in business. Many business owners have made it on their own talent and are running profitable businesses as a result of that talent. A business coach (sometimes called a Business Advisor, Business Mentor or even a Business Consultant), won’t consult, won’t tell you what to do, or won’t do the work for you! I will simply come in and ask you some questions about where you are now and where you want to be with your business. My sole focus is working with you to achieve your goals for your business! By way of preparation, please consider:

What have you already been doing/trying to fix in that area?
What would you need to consider differently if you wanted to be more effective in that area?
